Flexible and responsive, the Studio Vitrail team is capable of performing work on-site or in the workshop.

Meeting and Discussion

This initial step allows us to gather the necessary historical knowledge for a faithful and respectful restoration of the original work and its environment.

Stained Glass Removal

Once removed, the stained glass can be treated on-site or transported to the workshop.

Stained Glass Pouncing

Recreating the lead path to place the stained glass pieces correctly during unleading using a cutting plier.

Cleaning

Cleaning the glass pieces to remove old putty. Recutting broken pieces if necessary.

Bonding

Silicone conservation bonding (technique recommended by the historical monuments laboratory) or recreation of missing pieces

Leading

Leading with new lead, soldering, counter-soldering, puttying (sealing and rigidity of the stained glass).
